Dr. Sebastiano Vitali, Ph.D. (University of Bergamo)

Short bio:
Sebastiano Vitali is currently working at University of Bergamo and he is Research Scientist at Charles University. Prior to that, he worked at Charles University and at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
He completed his Ph.D. in Economics, Applied Mathematics and Operations Research at University of Bergamo under the supervision of Prof. Moriggia and Prof. Dupačova. Previously, he got a post-Master degree in Private Banking at University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan.
His research covers the areas of Asset and Liability Management, Pension Funds, Stochastic Optimization and its applications in Finance and, recently, Energy planning. His contributions has been published in some of the major journals of the area of Applied Operations Research, such as Omega, Annals of Operations Research, Energy, and Energy Economics.
